Stavropol Bashni was invented in 2010 by Benedikt Rosenau (Germany), who combine the special rule used in Stavropol Checkers with Bashni.

The only difference to Bashni is that each player can choose between moving his own pieces or the pieces of his opponent. If a player moves the men of his opponent, they must always move towards himself. Any possible capture is forced. On his turn a player must perform the capture for either color. The goal is the same as in Bashni. A player wins by leaving the opposing player with no legal moves, i.e. by capturing or blocking all of the opposing player's pieces.
